Over the past few weeks, more than 200 students from the Frederick Douglass Elementary School have been honored as Junior Fire Marshals in an effort to foster a sense of safety consciousness among these learners. These events have shed light on the fact that students at the Frederick Douglass Elementary School are keenly aware of the importance of safety consciousness in the society, and they are willing participants in various programs offered within their institution to boost their self-confidence and self-responsibility.

Ans. Frederick Douglass Elementary has an ordinary school schedule and school begins in August and ends in May according to Dallas Independent School District's vacation schedules.

Ans. Yes, the school has provisions for before-and-after-school care that has been approved by the district itself.

Ans. There are special education services and interventions provided for the students enrolled at Frederick Douglass Elementary.

Ans. The school offers some enrichments such as music and physical education among others that are part of the course for each grade.
