Dallas Independent School District (DISD) has recently announced the opening of enrollment for its universal pre-K program for the upcoming academic year 2026–27, and F.P. Caillet Elementary School has been included in the list of sites providing this new opportunity for young children. This development indicates that more children at the ages of three and four will be able to join the pre-K programs in DISD regardless of their family income level, depending on approval by the school district and availability of spots.
