The Dallas Education Foundation has recognized a teacher from Ascher Silberstein Elementary School as a 2025-2026 Heart of Teaching Grant winner. The recognition of innovative classroom activities that stretch beyond the boundaries of traditional teaching is a positive development for extracurricular activities in Dallas Independent School District. The activities that can be supported by the grant include more arts, STEAM, or student engagement programs to further enhance the learning environment in the school.
