Calallen ISD is still on track with its growth, as evidenced by Calallen East Elementary receiving a “B” rating for accountability for the latest evaluations for the 2024-2025 school year, as well as continued progress academically with respect to student achievement. The district has also been working hard to implement new academic calendars and student-initiated initiatives that will encourage student engagement and provide continuity in learning. In addition to the above, various events such as kindergarten celebrations and district-wide student activities provide evidence of strong participation in early grades and, therefore, a continued positive, active environment for students.
