Wilson Elementary was recently highlighted as part of Coppell ISD’s “Cowboys United” community campaign, showcasing the school’s welcoming environment to local families. The campus hosted a “Little Library” event where families gathered for reading activities and early childhood literacy engagement. This reflects Wilson’s strong focus on literacy development and family involvement. Amanda Sweeney became Wilson Elementary’s new principal for the 2025–2026 school year. She comes with a highly respected background from Pinkerton Elementary and is recognized for strong educational leadership. New leadership often brings: Fresh academic strategies, Enhanced school culture and Continued improvement initiatives
