Mockingbird Elementary is part of Coppell ISD’s award-winning visual arts program, which earned the Texas Art Education Association District of Distinction recognition for the second consecutive year. This places Coppell ISD among the top-performing art education districts in Texas. This reflects strong emphasis on: Creativity and arts education and Student talent development beyond academics. Mockingbird Elementary students recently participated in Pinwheels for Peace, a district-highlighted activity promoting kindness, anti-bullying, and peaceful community values.
