Denton Creek Elementary was recently highlighted in a local news feature for its engaging fifth-grade science program, where students participated in hands-on lessons about different forms of energy including mechanical, electrical, light, thermal, and sound. The program was praised for helping students prepare for the future through interactive STEM-based learning experiences. This shows the school is emphasizing modern, experiential education and strong STEM instruction. Denton Creek continues expanding its Dual Language Immersion (DLI) program, welcoming more students into the bilingual learning environment. School leadership has emphasized creating a smooth transition and inclusive environment for all incoming DLI students.
