The Biomedical Science Academy at Plummer Elementary has been able to stir up interest within the community because the school will be initiating this program within the next year – specifically the year 2025-2026. This new academy will allow elementary students to receive health-related training that will prepare them for more advanced classes in middle school. The Cedar Hill ISD Board members praised Plummer Elementary for their new initiative during one of their meetings.

Ans. The Biomedical Science Academy program will be introduced at Plummer Elementary, beginning from 2025-2026, providing health and science-based courses for middle-elementary students.
Q2. Are there any parent organizations associated with Plummer Elementary?
Ans. Yes, the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) and All-Pro Dads are two parent organizations that Plummer Elementary has to facilitate many student activities.
Q3. Are there any facilities for before and after-school care at Plummer Elementary?
Ans. The Right at School provides before and after-school care services at Plummer Elementary, and parents may avail themselves of these services for their children.
Q4. Is the National Elementary Honor Society program present at Plummer Elementary?
Ans. Yes, the National Elementary Honor Society is a membership program available for selected fourth and fifth-grade students at Plummer Elementary.
Q5. Is the Gifted and Talented program present at Plummer Elementary?
Ans. Yes, Plummer Elementary offers the Gifted and Talented program under the Cedar Hill ISD school district.
