Bonham Elementary made Bryan ISD news in fall 2024 when the Bryan ISD Education Foundation hosted its Grant Palooza kickoff event at the Bonham campus, a district-wide celebration of teacher grant awards that brought drumlines, cheerleaders, and community families to the school.
