The Austin school district has updated families about preparations for the next academic year at Dawson Elementary School. Dawson has shared its most recent list of supplies needed for the 2023–2024 school year, will send regular newsletters and continue to use ClassDojo for direct communication with parents about essential information. Graduates will be accepted into the 2026–2027 school year, with Pre-K applications opening April 1 and the remainder of the enrollment process running through the beginning of April and continuing through various ways that families can connect with the school. These updates demonstrate that Dawson is an organized and welcoming place to go to for the new school year.
