As part of efforts to recognize and celebrate student achievement and leadership on all campuses within the district, Baty Elementary has received new energy with the introduction of various district-led recognition programs. Recently, one such program was introduced called “Superintendent Student of the Month” to reward students who display excellence in academics, character, and involvement. With this award program, positive attention is brought to schools such as Baty. At the same time, Del Valle ISD has developed the 2026-2027 academic calendar helping parents and staff to have a better idea of what the following year will look like allowing for smoother planning among the entire school community.
