Denton ISD announced that Paloma Creek Elementary students will be reassigned to several higher-performing nearby elementary campuses beginning in the 2026–27 school year as part of the district’s improvement initiative. District leaders said the goal is to ensure students have access to stronger academic opportunities and learning outcomes. This reflects the district’s commitment to improving educational quality for students. the Paloma Creek campus is being repurposed for a new district/community use under Denton ISD’s “Building Forward” initiative. District leaders have discussed possible uses that could support both families and staff, including community-centered services.
