Wimbish remains a standout campus as Arlington ISD’s only dual-language academy offering both French and Spanish tracks, helping students become bilingual and culturally aware from an early age. Students learn in a 50/50 immersion model, building strong academic and communication skills.
The program prepares students for a global, multicultural future, which is a major differentiator among elementary schools.

A. The academy has lessons and activities that focus on language and help students communicate in more than one language.

Ans. Students can take part in cultural events, activities that are based on language, and learning experiences from around the world.

Ans. Students get better at speaking and writing by having bilingual conversations, giving presentations, and working together.

Ans. Working on group projects and doing language-based activities together help people work together and learn from each other.

Ans. Regular practice, helpful teaching, and chances to speak in front of others all help boost confidence.
