One of the most significant recent highlights is that a teacher at Hale Elementary, Lori Marsalko, was officially honored by the Arlington Fire Department for her heroic actions. She responded to a medical emergency involving a child during school pickup. Using her CPR and emergency training, she acted immediately and helped revive the child before first responders arrived.

Ans. To keep students interested, teachers use hands-on projects, discussions, and lessons that involve the students.

Students do art projects, creative writing, and other work that is based on a project.

Ans. Working in groups and doing assignments together helps students learn how to work together.
