The first quarter of 2026 brought accolades to the Westside Elementary School, which became a National Showcase School for Capturing Kids’ Hearts thanks to the effective school culture and engaged student body. It is worth mentioning that Westside Elementary organized a special celebration named “Wildcat Bash” to reward students after the STAAR test. Furthermore, Angleton ISD started accepting applications for enrollment in Pre-K and Kindergarten for 2026–2027 in April.
