Recently, students from Tradewind Elementary took part in the District A+ Academic UIL competitions, where they competed against students from all over Amarillo ISD. Some students were praised for their performance in events like oral reading, which showed that they were confident and had strong academic skills. Students could push themselves and do something different from what they usually do in class during the competition. It also made students want to stay interested in their studies and keep working hard.
