A major recent highlight is that Principal Bridget Landry was honored as Alvin ISD’s Principal of the Year. This recognition reflects: Strong leadership and school management, Positive academic culture and staff coordination and a well-performing and supportive school environment. The district approved a new academic calendar (Jan 2026) with input from parents, teachers, and community members. Key positives: Balanced schedule with fall and spring breaks aligned to community needs, Thoughtful planning based on student learning requirements and stakeholder feedback
