Being Updated
In January 2026, the district approved a new academic calendar shaped by parents, teachers, and community members. The calendar includes thoughtful features like: A balanced school schedule, Alignment with local events (e.g., fall break during county fair) and Structured timelines for student transitions. This reflects a student-centered planning approach, ensuring better academic flow and community alignment. As part of district-wide bond projects, security and facility upgrades are planned through 2027, including improvements impacting Nelson Elementary.
