This is the 15th year of the Marcia R. Garza Elementary School, and it will hold a “Quinceañera” to celebrate on May 8, 2026, when all the school’s alumni and their families are invited back to the school campus to celebrate with a huge party (the school’s first big event). The school opened a new fitness area, called the “Fit Pit”, and it was built using the $26,000 grant awarded to the school by the Valley Baptist Legacy Foundation. The school has many new pieces of outdoor fitness equipment, some of which include rope climbing and pull-up bars, where children will be able to work on their physical health.
