In March 2026, Crenshaw Middle School’s Writing Rocks team beat ECA and STEAMM, with Kali’Ona Lewis leading the combined score. The school also held an All-City Band Concert on March 5, 2026 and later this month announced winners of a St. Patrick's Day Locker Decorating Contest. The events underscore the school’s love of academic competitions, the performing arts and student involvement.
