Most recently, Jennings Community Learning Center was named one of the 15 most improved schools in the nation for successful student transitions from middle school to high school by the Southern Regional Education Board. Akron Public Schools is also considering a redistricting plan for the 2026-2027 school year that would help alleviate overcrowding at the school, which has operated at 99% capacity recently.
