George Washington High School in Cedar Rapids is celebrating the successful start of its certified nursing assistant (CNA) program, which gives students hands-on medical training right on campus. The Revolution Show Choir won first place at recent regional competitions, which was a big deal for the school's fine arts department. The choir showed off their high levels of technical skill and choreography. In addition, the campus is getting modernized security and entry systems, which make the historic building safer and more useful for all students and staff.
