Cedar Rapids Virtual Academy continues to expand its digital learning tools and personalized instruction. The school maintains strong reading outcomes and flexible learning options. Staff are focused on improving math performance through targeted interventions. The school is in ESSA Targeted Year 1 status.
Q1. Do students have to go to live online classes every day?
Ans. There are live sessions planned, but they differ from course to course.
Q2. How do you keep track of how many students are present?
Ans. Attendance is based on how often you log in and turn in your assignments.
Q3. Is it possible for students to go back to learning in person?
Ans. Transfers follow the rules for enrolling in a district.
Q4. Can teachers help students one-on-one?
Ans. Teachers have set times when they are available for virtual office hours.
Q5. How do you make sure that tests are fair?
Ans. They use online monitoring tools and teacher supervision.
