Sarasota is a coastal city with about 55,000 people. It is known for its arts scene, beaches, and high quality of life. Elementary school education is available there. Most students in Sarasota County Schools go to public schools. The district has several well-rated elementary schools, as well as a number of charter and private schools.
Elementary schools focus on strong core academics, early literacy and math development, STEM learning, and strong arts programs. The district has a wide range of students and consistently gets high marks from the state. Several schools have been named National Blue Ribbon Schools or Florida "A"-rated campuses. Sarasota is a wonderful place for families to send their kids to elementary school.
