According to the Florida Department of Education, Florida's elementary educational system continues to thrive, with 71% of the publicly funded schools earning an A or B grade in 2025 and every district achieving a C or better. The Elementary education system consists of over 2248 public schools and many schools are focusing on and promoting brilliant ideas in the innovative nature of student learning (e.g., STEAM pathways, Cambridge programs, and dual-language programs). There are also quality supports available to families with Exceptional Student Education and Gifted supports and programming. At times, families will begin to look at states and research the best elementary schools in Florida that is continually improving and demonstrating better results with its approach to learning!
