Port Orange elementary school education serves a suburban city of some 65,000 residents in Volusia County, known for its family-friendly neighborhoods, parks, and proximity to Daytona Beach. Most students in the area go to public schools in the Volusia County Schools district, which has several highly rated elementary campuses, as well as a number of charter and private school options. Schools focus on core academics, early literacy and math development, STEM initiatives, and arts programs and serve a diverse student population.
