The Orange River Elementary School recently announced Golden Apple Award nominees for the 2025–2026 year, recognizing outstanding teachers for excellence in education. This highlights: Strong teaching quality and staff dedication and A culture of recognition and professional excellence. Orange River Elementary launched a student-run bank branch program (Suncoast Credit Union partnership). This is a highly positive initiative because it: Teaches real-world money management skills, Builds early financial literacy and responsibility and Gives students hands-on learning experience. Students benefit from district programs like StarLab, an inflatable planetarium that brings interactive space science experiences directly to schools.
