Fort Myers is a growing city on Florida's Gulf Coast with about 95,000 people. It is known for its waterfront lifestyle, tourism, and family-friendly neighborhoods. The Lee County School District is one of the largest in the state, and most students go to public schools there. It has many elementary schools and various charter and private school options.
Elementary schools focus on the basics of reading, writing, and math, as well as STEM programs and arts programs. They also help students from different backgrounds by offering bilingual and enrichment services. The Florida Department of Education has given several campuses the National Blue Ribbon Award.
