Lancaster, California, is a city thats getting bigger in the Antelope Valley part of Los Angeles County. About 170,000 people live there. Its known for its wide-open spaces and neighborhoods that are good for families. For younger kids, most go to schools run by the Lancaster Elementary School District. They have lots of public elementary schools. There are also some private and religious schools if families want other choices. These schools mostly focus on basic subjects, helping kids out, and celebrating all the different cultures in the city. Even though how well kids do can differ from school to school, the district is always trying to make things better and keep kids interested.
