MoonCampaign by Oliver (8 years)
Oliver, created a Micro:bit Bleep Test to encourage people to move more and stay healthy. Inspired by the traditional fitness test, his project replaces bulky equipment with just a tiny Micro:bit. The device makes beeping sounds, times each run, counts scores, and tracks progress—all while being small, portable, and fun. Oliver is passionate about health and exercise, and this idea could help billions of inactive people become more active. His project includes sound, simple code, and clear messages to motivate fitness. It’s a great example of how kids can use technology to improve the world.

Oliver take health and fitness very seriously. I want to show you a special project I made using the BBC Micro:bit called the Micro:bit Bleep Test.
Did you know that almost 2 billion people in the world are inactive? That means they don’t move their bodies enough, which can lead to serious health problems. I wanted to do something about it. So I created a mini bleep test using the Micro:bit.

The future of work is changing rapidly. According to the World Economic Forum's Future of Jobs Report 2025, while AI is expected to create 69 million new jobs globally by 2030, it is also projected to eliminate 83 million roles, especially those involving routine and repetitive tasks. The message is clear: success in the future will belong to those who can think critically, solve complex problems, and adapt to change.

Project-based learning pushes children beyond memorization. It teaches them to experiment, debug mistakes, solve unexpected problems, and think independently. When kids build, test, fail, improve, and present their work, they develop the exact mindset needed to thrive in an AI-driven world—not just as users of technology, but as future creators and innovators.
Every child is gifted. Discover how yours can innovate and lead
