Killeen, Texas, has a lot of military people and is growing steadily. There are more than 150,000 people who live there. People who live near Fort Cavazos are very affected by the city. Middle school students in Killeen go to school in their own districts. The curriculum has both core subjects and activities that let students learn by doing.
Schools often have STEM activities, fine arts programs, and other ways for kids to learn new things to keep them interested.
