Huntington High School students keep doing well in academic competitions in the area. The school's academic team recently won the 2025 Region 2 Academic Showdown, which means they will go on to the state finals. The school also celebrated a big personal achievement when a senior was chosen as a regional finalist for the prestigious 2026 Coca-Cola Scholars program. Fewer than 1% of applicants across the country get this award. The fine arts department is still busy as well.
