Ocean Lakes High School is a public high school in Virginia Beach, Virginia. This school is part of the Virginia Beach City Public Schools system and teaches kids in grades 9 through 12. There are 1,900 to 2,000 students at the school, and each teacher works with 16 of them. This makes learning and having fun in the classroom easier. Ocean Lakes High School is one of the 12 high schools in the district and is ranked among the best schools. The school offers a wide range of academic options, including Advanced Placement (AP) classes and tests. About 43% of the students are taking AP classes. There are also honors classes, career and technical education pathways, and a lot of after-school activities that help kids get ready for college and jobs. About 30% of the students come from families that don't have a lot of money, and about 45% come from groups that aren't well represented in the general population. In the school year 2025–2026, 86% of students are good at math and 94% are good at reading (ELA). As part of their plans for after high school, students also take the SAT and ACT tests.

Ocean Lakes High School is making waves with its recent successes, like the girls soccer team winning the Pinnacle Award, which is a first for the school. The school's chorus also showed off their skills at the annual fall concert, where they sang more than 40 songs. Ocean Lakes High School is also working to improve student mastery and readiness through programs like ASVAB testing and career readiness lessons. The school is also celebrating the success of its students. Senior Aubrey Spagnoli was named Coach's Spotlight of the Month.
