The Jobs for America's Graduates (JAG) program at Columbia High School has been very successful. Recently, it helped students get internships with the City of Columbia, which gave them real-world work experience. This program is part of a larger "JAG Advantage" model that focuses on project-based learning and getting employers involved to make sure students are ready for college or the military. The school has also seen a real increase in the number of students who are ready for college and a career because of these community partnerships.
