Being Updated
East High School kicked off the 2025-2026 school year with a “100 Men to Cheer and Greet” event Aug. 26, 2025. Community men lined the Bennington Avenue campus to cheer on scholars on their first day. The school held Freshman and New Scholar Orientation on Aug. 20, 2025, with two sessions designed to help students transition and build Golden Bears pride. East High will still offer SAT and ACT prep, career and technical education pathways through Choffin Career and Technical Center and expanded course offerings before it makes the planned transition to Youngstown High School in 2026.

Ans. East High School has a college-preparatory curriculum and gives students chances to learn through practical activities and improve their skills.

Ans. Yes, students can learn how to be leaders by joining student groups, working on group projects, and mentoring other students.

Ans. Yes. Yes, The school has resources to help students get ready for the SAT and ACT tests.
Q4. Are there arts and creative programs at East High School?
Ans. Yes, students can take part in programs for visual arts, music, and performing arts.
