A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held March 6, 2026, to open Butler Tech’s expanded $12.1 million facility for its Bioscience Center. The 25,590-square-foot addition, which can house 350 students, was funded with a $7.2 million grant from Ohio's Career Technical Construction Program and $4.9 million from Butler Tech of Hamilton. The expansion will add five new classrooms and two simulation labs for adult education and advanced bioscience training programs. The project also added instructional space for the area’s career technical education programs for secondary and adult learners.
