Rio Rancho High School is now putting in to place its Program of Studies for the years 2026–2027. This program has a lot of different academic paths and after-school credit recovery options to help all seniors stay on track to graduate. The district has bought a 74,000-square-foot building to expand training for jobs in the industry, which means that the school's Career Technical Education (CTE) programs will grow a lot. The campus will also have its annual SAT Day on March 18, 2026, as well as spring events that show off student talent in the fine arts and sports programs.
