County Prep High School has been recognized for its accomplishments, such as being one of nine schools in New Jersey to receive the National Blue Ribbon Schools Program award. The school has a lot of different majors to choose from, such as Business, Culinary Arts, Music and Audio Technology, and Computer Science/Networking. The school's Audio Visual Production students recently worked with the Youth Foundation of Jersey City on a Work-Based Learning project. They covered the organization's annual "Taste of Jersey City" event in the media.
