Thomas Stone High School is starting a new program that pairs older students with younger students to help them with schoolwork and college applications. During its annual inspection in 2026, the school's JROTC program was given the Distinguished Unit with Merit award for the cadets' community service and leadership skills. Also, the music department is getting ready for the All-County Music Festival because some of the band and choir students did very well on their solo evaluations.
