In January, Mount Hebron High School's speech and debate team won first place at a big regional invitational. This earned them several spots in national competitions later in 2026. As part of a campus sustainability project, the school has also opened a new outdoor classroom for ecology and environmental science lessons. Students in the business and entrepreneurship program are also starting a group project to help small businesses in the Ellicott City area with their marketing.
