About High School Of Commerce

The High School of Commerce in Springfield, Massachusetts, is a public high school for students in grades 9–12. The school has a diverse student body, with a large number of minority students. This is because the city is home to many different cultures. There are about 700 to 900 students enrolled, which is a moderate number. The student-teacher ratio means that the class sizes are manageable. The school puts a lot of emphasis on career-focused education, which helps students get ready for both college and the job market. In addition to traditional academic subjects, the programs include courses in business, finance, and technology. The proficiency levels in math and English Language Arts (ELA) are 27% and 35%, respectively. This shows where students still need to improve academically. High School of Commerce keeps a professional and useful learning environment and gets students involved through clubs, career workshops, and internships. While the school doesn't give the SAT as part of its curriculum, students can take it on their own if they want to.
