As of 2026, almost all of Homestead High School's $169 million renovation project is done. The school now has modernized academic wings and specialized areas like the Spartan Success Center. The school's media program recently won several top awards at the state level, including being named School of the Year in several categories, such as news and emerging media. The athletic department is also doing well. This January, the gymnastics team won the Carter Classic title again, and student-athletes set new personal bests in regional competitions.
