About New Tech Institute

New Tech Institute is a public high school in Evansville, Indiana. It is a part of the Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporation and teaches students in grades 9 through 12. There are about 900 to 1,000 students at the school, and there is one teacher for every 18 students. This makes it possible for teachers to give each student their own attention. New Tech Institute is all about project-based learning and technology-integrated education. This means that students get real-world experiences in all of their classes. About 18% of the students are minorities, and about 42% say they are financially disadvantaged. This makes the student body a little bit diverse. According to academic performance indicators, about 46% of students are good at math and 59% are good at reading for the 2025–2026 school year. Students can take standardized tests like the SAT and ACT. They can also get help and resources to help them get ready. The school is in a neighborhood where people care about their community and neighborhoods are stable.
