In May 2026, the Pace Center for Girls in Leon will host the "Believe in Girls" night at LeMoyne Arts. At the event, students will act, read poetry, and tell stories about how they have changed as people. The center also just had its "All FORE Pace" golf tournament. Leaders from the community worked together to raise money for programs that help young women with their mental and school health. A large grant over several years has also helped pay for a new pilot program to stop people from abusing drugs and alcohol.
