Tuolumne City is located 2.5 hours east of the SF Bay Area. The high schools in Tuolumne are just like the rest of the small, close-knit Sierra Nevada community. The town is in Tuolumne County and only a few thousand people live there. People know this city for its history as a Gold Rush town, its beautiful forests, and its peaceful rural life.
