The Girls' Water Polo team at Martin Luther King Jr. High School just won the 2024 CIF-SS Division 2 Championship, which is a big deal for the program. The $55 million modernization project is also making big changes to the campus, such as building a brand-new two-story classroom building and a state-of-the-art auxiliary gym. Also, the school's academic community is getting a lot of attention because a teacher was named the 2025 Riverside Unified School District Teacher of the Year.
