El Monte is a historic city in Los Angeles County that used to be the end of the Santa Fe Trail. It has about 109,000 people living there. There is a lot going on in the city, and it has a lot of young people living there. Its high school district is one of the biggest in the area, and it puts a lot of emphasis on dual-enrollment programs with local colleges and career academies. Many schools have received recognition for their Title I academic achievement, which aids students from diverse backgrounds in their academic success. Families like it as a school because it has strong support systems and many scholarship opportunities for seniors who are about to graduate.
