Virgil Grissom High School keeps up its tradition of academic excellence by sending more students than ever to the prestigious Alabama All-State Band and Orchestra. The school's debate and speech team also recently won a multi-state tournament, which qualified several members for the national circuit. The athletic department is also celebrating a great season for the swim and dive teams, during which many athletes set new personal and school records.
