Wenonah High School just opened a new career development center to help students get ready for jobs in high-demand fields like technology and industry. The "Dragon" community is also celebrating the success of its varsity girls' basketball team, which has been winning a lot of games this season. The school has also started a new dual-enrollment program that lets students graduate with both a high school diploma and a technical certificate.
1. What kinds of specialized schools does Wenonah High School have?
Ans. Students in school can sign up for the Academy of Hospitality and Tourism to learn about the travel and service industries.
Q2. What is the process for taking tests in college?
Ans. The school gives the ACT on-site, which makes it easier for students to apply to college.
Q3. Are there hands-on vocational programs?
Ans. Through the Career and Technical Education programs, students in school get hands-on experience in a number of trades.
Q4. What part do school students play in sports?
Ans. Students at school are good at a lot of different sports, which makes the campus a lively and energetic place to be.
Q5. Is there a program for mentoring?
Ans. Alumni and community mentors who help students with their careers can be very helpful to them.
