Green Bay's West High School is currently working on a new International Baccalaureate support program that will give students who want to get the prestigious diploma in 2026 more resources and tutoring. The school has also benefited from recent improvements to its infrastructure, such as new collaborative study areas in the media center. The "West Side Story" community partnership is also growing, giving students unique chances to learn about local history and get involved in their communities.
Q1. Are there any help for the ACT and SAT tests?
Ans. West High gives students access to the ACT and helps students who are taking the SAT with counseling.
Q2. What is the IB (International Baccalaureate) program?
Ans. This tough academic framework pushes students to think critically and look at things from a global point of view.
Q3. How does the school help the arts?
Ans. Strong theater and visual arts programs help school kids make plays and galleries that look like they were made by professionals.
Q4. Is there a focus on heritage?
Ans. The school is a historic place that gives students a sense of continuity and strong ties to the community.
Q5. What kinds of sports programs are there?
Ans. School kids can play a lot of different sports during the year that are good for their health and school spirit.
